As you know, when you write, you have to be in the moment of inspiration. But what inspires you? Looking at other outfits or reading your favorite zine? I can tell you what inspires me though. Youtube. I'm not kidding. Youtube has some great , and not so great, videos of lolitas. Some are vlogs but most that I find are people who want to learn about the lolita fashion or little documentaries of the fashion itself.
IMF Local Feed series had a special webisode about lolita fashion where the host met Nana Kitade, a lolita herself. She was dressed in a punk lolita outfit with a bit of sweet charm. It was pretty cute in my opinion. She took him (and the viewers) on a store tour of Btssb's secret shop *insert awe here*. The host, whose name I cannot find, gets to talk to not only her but other lolitas who live and vist there as well. I've watched this video many times and I can't get over the fact on how amazing the store is!
RosieOs is youtuber and a blog spot blogger who frigging rules! Even though her blog mostly in spanish, she has a full english channel on youtube. She talks about lolita items in her wardrobe and the cuteness that she goes to. She went to Fantaisies Dans Le Monde Des Reves and you might have seen her there. Check her out cause she is an AP girl and is here to rock your world.
Shelby Cloud is this sweet vlogger who talks about all the lolita issues from coordinating your outfits to self esteem. It seems that she's like all the bloggers except she uses her voice instead of typing out words. She's very lovely and I'd kill to have that wardrobe.
The last three are documentaries about the fashion itself. This one is about the girls who wear the fashion as is this one as well. They both showcase lolitas in a positvie light and setting. The girls are sweet and polite, they use what little on screen time they have to their advantage and their outfits are soooooo cute! :3 Frilly in the City is also a cute little documentary about lolita fashion that is totally worth watching.
So take some time and watch some videos. You'll see something you'll like.
Until next time,

Ps. These videos aren't mine, just linking them for exposure.
